By the project "With knowledge to EU funds", the Regional agency DUNEA provides support to local and regional public entities from Dubrovnik-Neretva region in order to prepare and to implement the projects which are co-financed from EU funds.

 The OPERA II project aims to increase the employability of the most vulnerable groups in the labor market, through the preparation and implementation of innovative local employment initiatives aligned with the needs and strategic priorities of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County.

Coastal regions, including the Neretva River in Croatia and the Po River in Italy, are significantly exposed to a saltwater intrusion causing extreme negative effects on agriculture and tourism. 

 Every year many well-functioning family-run companies disappear due to the inability to find successors to the business leaders. Despite existing succession schemes in some countries, there is still overall limited experience and awareness on business ownership transfer. 

COASTING project is the result of co-operation of previously implemented coastal area management projects, COAST, COASTANCE and COASTGAP, where DUNEA participated as a project partner.
