Development and promotion of the Partnership Council for the Labor Market and Human Resources Development of Dubrovnik-Neretva County (OPERA II)

The aim of the project is to increase the employability of the most vulnerable groups in the labor market by preparing and implementing innovative local employment promotion initiatives aligned with the needs and strategic priorities of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and to strengthen the capacity of the Partnership Council for the Labor Market and Human Resources Development of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The project will be implemented throughout the county, in Dubrovnik, in the Neretva valley and in Korcula.
The target groups are unemployed members of vulnerable groups, as defined by the county's Human Resources Development Strategies. The project will host a total of ten workshops for 100 personal vulnerable groups on entrepreneurship, a total of eight workshops for 80 elementary school students on entrepreneurship and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, a total of four workshops for 48 high school students on entrepreneurship and STEM education, three workshops for employees and representatives of local partnership partner institutions for capacity building and sustainable functioning of the partner council and a total of eight workshops for 40 representatives of institutions of potential applicants for European Social Fund calls for proposals.
In addition to the holder of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, partners in the project are Regional agency DUNEA, Dubrovnik Development agency DURA, Croatian Employment Service - Dubrovnik Regional Office, KORA Local Development and Business Services Korčula, University of Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik-Neretva Entrepreneurship Center county.
